Will SHARP test other types of helmet such as open face, motocross or adventure styles?
The SHARP tests and assessments are valid for all types of helmet but it is unlikely that we will be testing other types of helmet in the near future.
We have concentrated on testing full face and system (flip front) helmets as these types represent the largest part of the UK market. To date, SHARP has rated over 500 models of helmet and we are working hard to provide ratings for as many other full face and system helmets as possible, subject to their availability to the UK motorcyclist.
